DESCRIPTION<\/h1>\n
The\u00a0Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA)<\/strong>\u00a0is a joint international institution of the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States and the European Union (EU). Its mission is to advance food security, resilience and inclusive economic growth in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific through innovations in sustainable agriculture. CTA operates under the framework of the Cotonou Agreement and is funded by the EU.<\/div>\n
CTA\u2019s envisions agriculture in ACP countries as a vibrant, modern and sustainable business that creates value for smallholder farmers, entrepreneurs, youth, and women, and produces affordable, nutritious and healthy food for all.<\/div>\n
CTA is looking for a highly motivated and result-oriented intern to support a wide spectrum of communications activities.<\/div>\n
Do you love writing and are you able to craft messages to different audiences? Do you like to tell a story, and are you interested in the broader aspects of communications? Are you able to do research, to find relevant data and do fact-checking?
If you can answer yes to these questions, CTA can offer you an exciting opportunity to learn and grow professionally in communications. As part of our communication team, you will be actively engaged in supporting CTA\u2019s communications across platforms. You will draft different kinds of content, help to prepare presentations and monitor how our communications work.<\/div>\n
You will work particularly closely with the one or two other interns in the department, to ensure coordination of content, visuals, and social media. You will also interact with other CTA staff to get input on their fields of work and ensure that we got everything right.<\/div>\n
