Through your story you could potentially change the lives of a friend, a neighbor, a family in another Megacity.<\/p>\n<p>Your short documentary will change the world.<\/p>\n<p>A festival of short documentary-films that highlights initiatives seeking to bring effective solutions to MegaCities\u2019 challenges in order to inspire people to take actions to improve the life of MegaCitizens in their MegaCity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Two Categories of ShortDoc<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Best Documentary of 4mn or less (including the closing credits) presented with an artistic, film-style approach;<\/li>\n<li>Best Reporting of 4mn or less (including the closing credits) presented with a journalistic approach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Criterias<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Power of the\u00a0<strong>solution<\/strong>\u00a0in terms of inhabitants\u2019 benefits and the challenges associated with it, it could help to mitigate;<\/li>\n<li>Description of the Start Up that proposed the solution and perspective of development (internationally if relevant);<\/li>\n<li>Clarity of the messages, relative brevity and capacity for synthesis will be appreciated. And the short video pitch should not be perceived as a pure advertising video.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>ELIGIBILITY<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>Applications are open to all individuals;<\/li>\n<li>A special prize will be awarded to students, therefore, they require to submit the student card when applicable;<\/li>\n<li>Filming must take place inside the urban area of one of these existing 30 megacities (metropolitan areas of more than 10 M. inhabitants);<\/li>\n<li>The 38 megacities: Tokyo, Jakarta, Delhi, Seoul-Incheon, Manila, Mumbai, Karachi, Shanghai, New York, Sao Paulo, Beijing, Mexico City, Guangzhou-Foshan, Osaka-Kobe-Kyoto, Moscow, Dhaka, Cairo, Bangkok, Los Angeles, Kolkata, Buenos Aires, Tehran, Istanbul, Lagos, Shenzhen, Rio de Janeiro, Kinshasa, Tiajin, Lima, Paris, Chengdu, Lahore, London, Bangalore, HoChih Minh City, Nagoya, Chennai, Rhine-Ruhr.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Your short documentary film MUST:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>show a challenge in your MegaCity (such as transportation, education, refugees, health, climate change, \u2026) and solutions or ideas of new iniatives that could tackle such\u00a0 issues and, is potentially, in a theme covered by one of the United Nations 17\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sustainabledevelopment.un.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <a href=\"http:\/\/univerwork.com\/megacities-shortdocs-citizen-film-festival-2018\">#MEGACITIES #SHORTDOCS #CITIZEN #FILM #FESTIVAL 2018<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/jobsintern.blogspot.com\/2018\/06\/megacities-shortdocs-citizen-film.html\">#MEGACITIES #SHORTDOCS #CITIZEN #FILM #FESTIVAL 2018<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 JOBS\/INTERSHIPS\/TRAININGS\u00a0\u2013 UNIVERWORK.COM Follow @PettisFight \u00a0 Deadline:\u00a015 July 2018Open to:\u00a0all individualsAward:\u00a0trip to Paris and 1000 EUR DESCRIPTION Megacities of the world present lots of\u00a0opportunities\u00a0but are also full of challenges.
