{"id":84442,"date":"2018-07-06T01:36:00","date_gmt":"2018-07-06T01:36:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2023-01-06T19:52:39","modified_gmt":"2023-01-06T19:52:39","slug":"world-youth-forum-right-to-dialogue-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cvnextjob.com\/index.php\/2018\/07\/06\/world-youth-forum-right-to-dialogue-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"#WORLD #YOUTH #FORUM #RIGHT TO #DIALOGUE 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><div><\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/univerwork.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/WORLD-YOUTH-FORUM-RIGHT-TO-DIALOGUE-2018.jpg?resize=1200%2C600\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a08 July 2018<br \/><strong>Open to:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0young adults aged 18 to 35, without distinction as to nationality<br \/><strong>Venue:<\/strong>\u00a028 \u2013 30 September 2018,\u00a0 Trieste, Italy<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h1>DESCRIPTION<\/h1>\n<p>This classical scheme, belonging to Ethics and Practical Philosophy or Philosophy of Action, is still used to promote an open discussion on ethics and complexity today.<\/p>\n<p>Which is the relationship between Good \/ goods, ends \/ values and happiness in a complex world in which the relations\u2019 system is constantly expanding and opening new interaction networks?<\/p>\n<p>During the Forum, participants will have the chance to discuss and put in comparison:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the foundations of an Ethics\u2019 doctrine, the premises set in Western philosophy and in other systems of thinking about \u201cvirtue\u201d, \u201cvalues\u201d, \u201cduties\u201d (and rights);<\/li>\n<li>the issues that in each field of action represent or may be considered as approaches and \u201cethical\u201d systems inasmuch as they have precise declinations of \u201cGood\u201d as their ends.<br \/>Hence the question: how do specific approaches contribute to reconstitute, when possible and necessary, an \u201cethical\u201d or \u201cvalue-related\u201d doctrine, having at its core practices and relations?<br \/>Particularly, it will be interesting to see how the issues related to complexity will merge with those related to Ethics.<br \/>Some keywords belonging to either of them may be \u201claunched\u201d to foster a reflection that, due to its own nature, will lead to very different directions, opening the debate and the chance to dialogue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here\u2019s just a few suggestions, chosen among the many possible declination that can be dealt with from an \u201cethical\u201d point of view:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>code of behavior, or ethical code;<\/li>\n<li>discipline;<\/li>\n<li>cultural vs. natural and foundations of Ethics;<\/li>\n<li>Ethics and dynamics of communication;<\/li>\n<li>change \/ order;<\/li>\n<li>education and learning;<\/li>\n<li>social Ethics and public Ethics;<\/li>\n<li>economic Ethics;<\/li>\n<li>relationship;<\/li>\n<li>responsibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each of these topics involves many others the prospective speakers may present by clearly arguing their theories.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Papers are expected to carefully focus on the single aspects, moving from the authors\u2019 areas of expertise and cultures.<\/p>\n<p>The Forum is expected to foster an open discussion among all participants; they will be given in advance the papers\u2019 booklet, so that they may productively take part into the debate\u2019s plenary sessions.<\/p>\n<h1>ELIGIBILITY<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>The present call is addressed to young adults aged 18 to 35, without distinction as to nationality;<\/li>\n<li>The Forum works will be conducted both in Italian and in English; simultaneous translation from\/to both languages will be provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>BENEFITS<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>The Forum\u2019s organization will provide a 4 nights accommodation (check-in on Sept. 27th, check-out on Oct. 1st).
