Open to:<\/strong>\u00a0students of all ages and nationalities, as long as they have completed a minimum four-year degree \u2013 in any relevant subject \u2013\u00a0 by October 31st<\/sup>2018
Scholarship:<\/strong>\u00a0all students are exempt from paying tuition and receive a monthly stipend for the entire three-year duration of the Programs. In addition, students receive free full room and board on-campus.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

DESCRIPTION<\/h1>\n

Applications are now being accepted for the\u00a02018\/19 PhD Programs\u00a0<\/strong>at the\u00a0IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca<\/strong>\u00a0(www.imtlucca.it<\/a>), one of the six Schools of Excellence in Italy and one of the highest rated graduate schools in Europe according to the most recent U-Multirank survey.\u00a0 Highly motivated candidates from all disciplines are invited to apply for one of the\u00a036 fully-funded scholarships,\u00a0<\/strong>which are equally divided between two doctoral Programs that integrate scientific competences of economics, engineering, computer science, neuroscience and behavioral psychology, physics, applied mathematics, statistics, history and sciences of cultural heritage.<\/p>\n

Each of the two PhD Programs have their own two field-specific Tracks, which partially share a common scientific background and are directly linked to the School\u2019s four scientific and research macro-areas. Candidates can apply for one (or more) of the following Programs and Tracks:<\/p>\n
