The EYP is a non-partisan and independent programme. The EYP is a network consisting of 40 European associations and organizations, in which thousands of young people are active in a voluntary capacity. With its international, national and regional sessions it reaches out to ca. 30 000 young people all over Europe every year. The international umbrella organization of the EYP is the Schwarzkopf Foundation, hosting the International Office of the EYP.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>European Youth Parliament<\/strong>\u00a0is offering two full-time volunteer position at its\u00a0<strong>International Office in Berlin.<\/strong>\u00a0The organization is looking for applicants who would like to gain professional experience in the operations of an international NGO for the duration of\u00a0<strong>12 months\/6 months.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The volunteers will support the work of the\u00a0<strong>EYP International Office:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>August 2018<\/strong>\u00a0(as soon as possible)\u00a0<strong>until January 31, 2019<\/strong>, for a duration of 5-6 months<\/li>\n<li><strong>August 2018<\/strong>\u00a0(as soon as possible)\u00a0<strong>until July 31, 2019<\/strong>, for a duration of 12 months<\/li>\n<li><strong>February 2019<\/strong>\u00a0until\u00a0<strong>January 2020<\/strong>, for a duration of 12 months<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Main tasks<\/h3>\n<p>You will support the Project Managers of the EYP team in the following areas:<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Practical preparations for events, especially our governance events (EYP Board of National Committees and Governing Body);<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with communications tasks: curating EYP\u2019s presence in social media and EYP website, helping to develop printed materials such as brochures, flyers, and annual report;<\/li>\n<li>Supporting knowledge exchange among EYP\u2019s national committees;<\/li>\n<li>Helping to coordinate training and webinars;<\/li>\n<li>Drafting and revising of reports and funding applications;<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the work of the EYP international office;<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and updating databases;<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and administering evaluations and polls;<\/li>\n<li>Participant management for the International Sessions;<\/li>\n<li>Practical preparations for events;<\/li>\n<li>Other tasks \u2013 depending on your talents, on current projects and events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Eligibility<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>Good knowledge of English;<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills;<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in office work;<\/li>\n<li>Good team spirit;<\/li>\n<li>Solid knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word (including serial letters);<\/li>\n<li>Experience in EYP (not obligatory);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <a href=\"http:\/\/univerwork.com\/evs-at-the-international-office-of-the-eyp-in-berlin-germany\">#EVS at the International #Office of the EYP in #Berlin, #Germany<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/jobsintern.blogspot.com\/2018\/07\/evs-at-international-office-of-eyp-in.html\">#EVS at the International #Office of the EYP in #Berlin, #Germany<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 Deadline:\u00a022 July 2018Open to:\u00a0young people betwen 18-28 years oldBenefits:\u00a0fully funded Description The\u00a0European Youth Parliament (EYP)\u00a0is a unique\u00a0educational programme\u00a0which brings together young people from all over Europe, to discuss current topics in a parliamentary setting.
