It is an annual two-day event bringing together some 150 students, academics and early-mid career engineers and colleagues from supporting industry to explore pathways to technical leadership.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u201cInteractive sessions, amazing inspiring stories\u2026 Inspirational speakers, open conversations about issues facing women in the workplace\u2026 Encouragement to stand out and be a great employee and engineer\u2026\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Improve technical skills to reach your potential<\/li>\n<li>Gain insights into societal challenges<\/li>\n<li>Hone self-confidence &amp; networking skills<\/li>\n<li>Develop career-life balance strategies<\/li>\n<li>Meet and learn from role models<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wes.org.uk\/sites\/default\/files\/2018-07\/WES%20Student%20Conference%202018%20Programme%20FOR%20ONLINE%20V5.docx.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>The full conference programme can be viewed here.\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>CONFERENCE FEES<\/strong><br \/>Conference fees include\u00a0overnight bed &amp; breakfast accommodation in a twin room, refreshments, drinks reception and banquet dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday.
