Description<\/h1>\n

For someone it represents the origin of all things, for others it is only the state in which they find their own desk; for someone it is a mathematical and physical theory that can understand only those who have an incredibly high IQ, for others it represents the emblem of the society in which we live. It is about the CAOS, or CHAOS if you prefer. Which is also the theme of the 14th edition of the Tapirulan illustrator contest.<\/p>\n

If at this moment your mind appears totally empty and you have any idea of what you could draw to participate in the competition, well \u2026 don\u2019t worry, this is Chaos too, in a certain sense: that is a primordial state of emptiness, a (creative) darkness that precedes the realization of a magnificent illustration. The important thing, however, is that the darkness vanishes within October 20, 2018, that is the deadline of the competition. Given the theme the contest leaves maximum freedom of delivery, but in the organization of Tapirulan perhaps it is better that the chaos still does not reign\u2026 So even in this edition it is necessary to draw up a\u00a0regulation<\/a>, that you can find it\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Eligibility<\/h1>\n

Any Italian or foreign artist is eligible to submit work. There is no age limit however underage candidates need parents\u2019 authorization. Every candidate is allowed to submit only one brand-new work. Works which have been awarded prizes or merits previously will not be accepted.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

Any medium and technique is allowed.
Each work must be square-shaped, not smaller than 25\u00d725 centimetres and not bigger than 40\u00d740 centimetres.
If the artwork is applied on a panel or frame, it must not exceed 3 mm in thickness.
In case of a digital image it should be 31\u00d731 centimetres (300 dpi \u2013 JPG format \u2013 best quality).
Theme of the contest:\u00a0CAOS (Chaos)
The subscription fee is 15 euros.<\/p>\n

Awards<\/h1>\n

2.500 euros<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 First prize awarded by the jury. The winner will be invited for a solo exhibition at Spazio Tapirulan in the next edition of the competition and will be published in a personal catalogue.
The winning work will also be published on the Annual of the \u201cAutori di Immagini\u201d Association.
500 euros<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Prize awarded by the registered subscribers in Tapirulan website.
The 48 artists whose works will be published in the catalogue will<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
