The L\u2019Or\u00e9al USA For Women in Science fellowship program awards five women postdoctoral scientists annually with grants of $60,000 each for their contributions in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields and commitment to serving as role models for younger generations.<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n

The For Women in Science program was created out of a simple belief: the world needs science, and science needs women because women in science have the power to change the world.<\/p>\n

The program is the U.S. component of the\u00a0L’Or\u00e9al-UNESCO For Women in Science International Fellowships program<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong>\u00a0Celebrating its eighteenth year in the U.S., the For Women in Science program has awarded 90 postdoctoral women scientists over $4 million in grants.<\/p>\n

L\u2019Or\u00e9al USA partners with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) to manage the program\u2019s application and peer-review process. Each year, the program attracts talented applicants from diverse STEM fields, representing some of the nation\u2019s leading academic institutions and laboratories.<\/p>\n

You could be awarded $60,000 for research in a STEM field.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re seeking five exceptional female scientists looking to advance their research and serve as role models for the next generation of girls in STEM.<\/p>\n

Candidates must have completed their PhD and have started in their postdoctoral research position by the application deadline.<\/p>\n

Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to apply.<\/p>\n

Applications due by 5:00pm ET on Friday, January 27, 2023.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
