It offers talented, highly motivated, non-EEA students with outstanding study results the opportunity to be awarded a scholarship for a complete English-taught Radboud University Master\u2019s degree programme.<\/p>\n<p>Each year, a number of partial scholarships are awarded within the Radboud Scholarship Programme for the duration of one of the English taught Master&#8217;s degree programmes\u00a0(with the exception of Erasmus Mundus Master&#8217;s programmes and joint-degree Master&#8217;s programmes).<\/p>\n<p>For 2023\/2024, a maximum of 26 Radboud Scholarships are available: Faculty of Arts (1), Faculty of Law (9), Faculty of Medical Sciences (1), Nijmegen School of Management (2), Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies (1), Faculty of Science (10), Faculty of Social Sciences (2).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"definitionlist__item\">TypeGrant<\/div>\n<div class=\"definitionlist__item\">Eligible countries or regionsAll non-EU\/non-EEA countries, Vietnam<\/div>\n<div class=\"definitionlist__item\">Duration of grantDuration of Master&#8217;s programme<\/div>\n<div class=\"definitionlist__item\">Coverage of grantPartial grant<\/div>\n<div class=\"definitionlist__item\">\n<p>Involved facultyFaculty of Arts<\/p>\n<p>,Faculty of Law<\/p>\n<p>,Faculty of Medical Sciences<\/p>\n<p>,Nijmegen School of Management<\/p>\n<p>,Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies<\/p>\n<p>,Faculty of Social Sciences<\/p>\n<p>,Faculty of Science<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"field rich-text rich-text--field-grant-conditions\">\n<p><span class=\"field__label\">Conditions<\/span>You will only be eligible to apply for a Radboud Scholarship if you:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>hold a non-EU\/non-EEA passport<\/li>\n<li>are not eligible for the lower EU\/EEA tuition fee for other reasons<\/li>\n<li>have (will obtain) a Bachelor&#8217;s degree achieved outside the Netherlands, have no degrees achieved in the Netherlands and\u00a0did not receive any previous education in the Netherlands (exchange programmes excluded, provided that they are part of the bachelor degree achieved outside the Netherlands)<\/li>\n<li>meet the English language proficiency requirement for the Master&#8217;s programme of your choice<\/li>\n<li>have been fully admitted to the English-taught Master&#8217;s degree programme starting 1 September 2023\u00a0as stated in the formal letter of admission<\/li>\n<li>are able to comply with the conditions for obtaining a visa for the Netherlands<\/li>\n<li>are enrolled at Radboud University as a full-time student for the academic year and Master&#8217;s degree programme for which the scholarship will be awarded<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"field field--name-field-grant-amount field--type-string-long field--label-above\">\n<div class=\"field__label\">Amount of grant<\/div>\n<p>A Radboud Scholarship will reduce your tuition fee to \u20ac 2.314,- For example: a grant holder in 2022\/2023 will pay a tuition fee of only \u20ac2.314,- instead of \u20ac16,000. The scholarship also covers costs for visa, residence permit, health insurance and liability insurance for your stay in the Netherlands (Aon Student Insurance).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"field field--label-title field--name-field-how-to-apply field--label-above rich-text\">\n<h2 class=\"field__label\">How to apply<\/h2>\n<p>You can apply by indicating during your\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ru.nl\/en\/education\/application-and-admission\/application-procedure-masters\" data-entity-substitution=\"canonical\" data-entity-type=\"node\" data-entity-uuid=\"64a325ab-94d3-49cd-a823-400ce355604e\">application for admission<\/a>\u00a0for a Master&#8217;s programme in the OSIRIS Application system that you wish to apply for a Radboud Scholarship. You will then be requested to upload three additional documents: two reference\u00a0letters and a curriculum vitae.\u00a0If you already uploaded these documents for the Master\u2019s programme application, you can upload the same documents again for your scholarship application.<\/p>\n<p>The selection for the scholarship and the admission to the Master&#8217;s programme are two separate processes: admission to the Master&#8217;s programme does not imply selection for the scholarship.<\/p>\n<h4>Additional information<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>In\u00a0case you are selected as a scholarship recipient and you are admitted to\u00a0a two-year Master&#8217;s programme: to qualify for the grant again for the second year, you need to have passed all courses in the first year.<\/li>\n<li>The Radboud Scholarship cannot be combined with the Radboud Encouragement Scholarship, Fulbright-Radboud Scholarship or Orange Tulip Scholarship.\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">If eligible, you may apply for more than one scholarship, but only one scholarship will be granted. However,\u00a0<strong>please note<\/strong>\u00a0that you cannot apply for both Radboud Scholarship Programme and Radboud Encouragement Scholarship, you can only apply for one of these two.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"field field--name-field-grant-deadline field--type-string-long field--label-above\">\n<div class=\"field__label\">Deadline<\/div>\n<p>You must have completed your application in the online OSIRIS Application system on 28 February 2023 23:59 CEST at the latest.<\/p>\n<p>Please note, if you are applying for the Master\u2019s programme in Biomedical Sciences or Molecular Mechanisms of Disease, the application deadline is 31 January 2023. Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered for the Radboud Scholarship selection. An incomplete application means that some information and\/or documents are missing or illegible. Therefore, please be advised and submit your application in the online OSIRIS Application early February 2023 at the latest so that the Admissions Office has enough time to review your application and inform you in case that it is incomplete. We recommend you hand in your proof of English proficiency before the deadline of 28 February 2023 as well. You will be informed about the final decision by department Student Life and International Mobility with respect to your application for a Radboud Scholarship before mid-April 2023 (date subject to change).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"field rich-text rich-text--field-selection-procedure\">\n<p><span class=\"field__label\">Selection procedure<\/span>The selection of the scholarship recipients will be based on the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Academic excellence<br \/>\n&#8211; Outstanding study results in your present field of study, for example through grades, test scores, publications.<br \/>\n&#8211; Relevancy of your previous degree to the master\u2019s programme.<br \/>\n&#8211; The ranking of the university where you obtained your previous degree(s).<\/li>\n<li>Ambition<br \/>\n&#8211; The quality and relevance of your motivation letter for the Master\u2019s programme.<br \/>\n&#8211; Show promise, based on previous achievements, performances and work in the relevant field of study.<br \/>\n&#8211; Life experience and\/or extracurricular activities such as internships or volunteering.<\/li>\n<li>References<br \/>\n&#8211; Quality of the recommendations in the two reference letters, preferably two academic references, please see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ru.nl\/sites\/default\/files\/2022-11\/Reference%20letter%20guidlines%202023-2024.pdf\">these reference guidelines<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All students applying for the Radboud Scholarship will be individually considered by the selection committee of the faculty they applied to. This selection is based on the criteria as mentioned above. Faculties may base their selection on other criteria as well; some study programmes hold interviews for example.<\/p>\n<p>The costs of living and studying in The Netherlands are not covered by de scholarship.
