It amounts to CHF 1,600 per month from 15 September to 15 July (or 10 months a year) for the complete duration of the masters (one and a half years or two years depending on the chosen masters), with the exception of cases of definitive failure after the first year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidates are made aware of the fact that the sum of the scholarship awarded is not sufficient to live in Switzerland.\u00a0It is not a fully funded scholarship.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With regard to this, we invite candidates to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/immat\/en\/home\/menuguid\/faq--infos-utiles\/informations-utiles\/taxes-detudes-et-cout-de-la.html\">consult the page<\/a>\u00a0about the reference budget of a student at UNIL.<\/p>\n<p>Students offered a scholarship will be exempt from the fixed registration fees for the courses, with the exception of the CHF 80.00 fees to be paid each semester.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"float_\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><a id=\"standard_111\" name=\"standard_111\"><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"content\">\n<h2>What are the master programmes for which it is possible to apply for a Masters Scholarship?<\/h2>\n<div>\n<p>The list of all\u00a0master\u2019s degrees\u00a0at UNIL\u00a0for which\u00a0it is possible to apply,\u00a0can be found at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.unil.ch\/formations\/en\/home\/menuinst\/masters.html\">this address<\/a>\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p><strong>It is\u00a0however\u00a0not possible to apply for the following\u00a0master\u00a0programmes<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master from the School of Medicine<\/li>\n<li>Master in Sciences and Practices of Education<\/li>\n<li>Master of Law.\u00a0<strong>Exceptions: Open to applications for Masters Scholarships<\/strong>\u00a0: Specialisms &#8220;International and Comparative Law&#8221;,\u00a0&#8220;Legal Theory&#8221; and\u00a0&#8220;International\u00a0Tax Law and Policy&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Master of Science in Physical Education and Sport Didactics<\/li>\n<li>Master of Science in Health\u00a0Sciences<\/li>\n<li>Master of Science in Sustainable Management &amp; Technology<\/li>\n<li>All MASs (3rd cycle programmes, Further Education programmes)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the<strong>\u00a0Master in psychology,<\/strong>\u00a0students holding a foreign Bachelor in psychology must have obtained\u00a0<strong>a place of study for a master in psychology at a university in the country where the bachelor was awarded.<\/strong><strong>\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"float_\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><a id=\"standard_113\" name=\"standard_113\"><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"content\">\n<h2>What are the conditions necessary for applying for a Masters Scholarship?<\/h2>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>To have\u00a0obtained\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/immat\/en\/home\/menuinst\/futurs-etudiants\/master\/avec-un-bachelor-etranger.html\">a foreign university degree considered equivalent to a Swiss university bachelor<\/a>\u00a0before the beginning of the masters programme at UNIL.<\/li>\n<li>To have distinguished yourself during your studies, especially through particularly brilliant academic results.<\/li>\n<li>To have a language level of at least\u00a0C1\u00a0(according to the European Language Portfolio global scale) in French or at least C1 in\u00a0English\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/formations\/en\/home\/menuinst\/masters\/programmes-taught-in-english.html\">according to the language in which your chosen master is taught.<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Not\u00a0to be\u00a0registered\u00a0at\u00a0UNIL<\/li>\n<li>To have paid the CHF 200.00\u00a0Administrative\u00a0fees\u00a0(see document, &#8220;list of documents for an application&#8221;).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Withdrawal from the master programme will lead to the suspension of the scholarship.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"float_\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><a id=\"documents\" name=\"documents\"><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"content\">\n<h2>How can I apply for a Masters Scholarship?<\/h2>\n<div>\n<p><span class=\"textecouleur\"><strong>First of all, you do not have to apply for the master\u2019s degree at the Admission Office (SII) of UNIL.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Candidates for the Masters Scholarship must\u00a0<strong>apply online<\/strong>\u00a0and upload their\u00a0<strong>complete application file in PDF<\/strong>\u00a0during the online application (refer to the document in the margin, &#8220;list of documents for an application&#8221;).\u00a0<strong>Application files in PDF sent by email and incomplete application files will not be considered<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additionally,\u00a0<\/strong>for candidates with a bachelor issued from a university<strong>\u00a0based<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>in a State which\u00a0<u>did not ratify<\/u>\u00a0the Lisbon Recognition Convention\u00a0<\/strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coe.int\/en\/web\/conventions\/full-list?module=signatures-by-treaty&amp;treatynum=165\">check your country here<\/a>\u00a0<i class=\"fa fa-external-link\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i>),<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>a certified copy in a sealed envelope of the university of the university documents<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>has to be sent\u00a0<strong>by postal mail<\/strong>. Please consult the procedure to follow\u00a0<strong>regarding the certified copies\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/immat\/en\/home\/menuinst\/futurs-etudiants\/sinscrire\/master---contenu-dossier-dimmatriculation\/avec-un-bachelor-obtenu-dans-un-autre-etat.html\"><strong>here (see information in the blue box)<\/strong><\/a><strong>.\u00a0<\/strong>The sealed envelope with the certified copies of the university must be sent to the following address<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>within the deadline of 1 November (post mark),\u00a0<strong>but only if the online application was filled in and sent successfully.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Universit\u00e9 de Lausanne<br \/>\nService des affaires sociales et de la mobilit\u00e9 \u00e9tudiante (SASME)<br \/>\nB\u00e2timent Unicentre<br \/>\nCH &#8211; 1015 Lausanne<br \/>\nSwitzerland<\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidates with a bachelor issued from a university based in a State which\u00a0<u>did ratify<\/u>\u00a0the Lisbon Recognition Convention\u00a0<\/strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coe.int\/en\/web\/conventions\/full-list?module=signatures-by-treaty&amp;treatynum=165\">check your country here<\/a>\u00a0<i class=\"fa fa-external-link\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i>)<strong>\u00a0must not send\u00a0<\/strong>certified copies by postal mail.<\/p>\n<p>The application for the Masters Scholarship also serves as an application for admission to your chosen masters (and therefore an application to register at UNIL).<\/p>\n<p><strong>The<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>deadline for\u00a0an application\u00a0is November<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>1st\u00a0<\/strong>to begin a master\u2019s degree during the following academic year, in the autumn semester or the spring semester\u00a0(if the programme allows).\u00a0The online application must be sent until that date.
