In a world facing urgent and significant human, social and environmental challenges, we know that there are many people who want to contribute to positive fundamental change.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Being part of the \u2018sustainability transformation\u2019 is one way that individuals can make a real difference \u2013 for businesses, communities and for the planet. We invite ambitious and innovative leaders\u00a0from\u00a0Africa\u00a0who want to learn how to\u00a0<\/span>bridge the gap between\u00a0<\/span>desire<\/span><\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>action<\/span><\/i>\u00a0on sustainability to join us as part of the Swedish Institute Management Programme 2022, and work in collaboration with like-minded people in their region, to help tackle these challenges, and lead their businesses to success through sustainable business practices. Because the speed and scale of change that the world desperately needs cannot be achieved in isolation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Recognising the significance of this global challenge, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have been set up to define global priorities and aspirations before the year 2030. The business community plays a critical role in the implementation of the SDGs and in creating a better future for all.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At the Swedish Institute, we have created unique development programme which brings together people from different\u00a0African\u00a0countries in an enhanced collaborative environment, where they can co-create solutions between business and other sector organisations in your country which have a genuine chance of success.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Swedish Institute Management Programme<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/i>(SIMP) offers you proven tools and knowledge from experts who can help you to put sustainability at the heart of your strategy and take your leadership to the next level. The programme is based on Sweden\u2019s prominent position in innovation and sustainable business \u2013 and its connection to the global economy.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A core outcome of the programme is for every participant to develop and implement an action-oriented\u00a0<\/span>sustainability challenge.\u00a0<\/span><\/i>Y<\/span>ou will formulate it based on the needs of your organisation\u00a0<\/span>and its stakeholders.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The programme runs\u00a0online and at\u00a0local\u00a0conference venues<\/span>*\u00a0<\/span>between\u00a0<\/span>May<\/span>\u00a02022<\/span>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<\/span>F<\/span>e<\/span>bruary<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>202<\/span>3<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>It includes coaching, interactive workshops and lectures, as well as meetings with representatives from companies and organisations in Sweden. SIMP is a challenging and interactive programme that requires your active participation and contribution. It is\u00a0<\/span>not<\/span><\/i>\u00a0a series of one-way lectures. \u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
