The Board of the Foundation reserves the right to edit the report for communication purposes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>How to Apply<\/h3>\n<p>Necessary documents are:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Motivation and purpose statement (in English)<\/li>\n<li>Curriculum Vitae (in English)<\/li>\n<li>Copy of passport<\/li>\n<li>Copies of degrees or diplomas with academic transcripts (with English translations)<\/li>\n<li>Two signed references from either academic or professional referees (in English)<\/li>\n<li>Letter of acceptance from Leiden University.\u00a0<em>In order to meet the March 31st deadline for the scholarship, applicants should apply to Leiden University no later than February 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0\u00a0for the September intake. Applications may take between 4-6 weeks to be processed by Leiden University. Without a letter of acceptance from Leiden University, the Lutfia Rabbani Foundation cannot consider applicants for a scholarship.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>A detailed programme outline of the Master study the scholar intends to pursue at Leiden University (in English)<\/li>\n<li>Budget: please be thorough in completing your budget to include tuition fees (and whether you have applied to other scholarship funds) as well as necessary expenses to be incurred during the academic year. This reiterates the commitment of both organisations to support exceptional talent from the MENA region, stressing the importance of international scholarships as a tool to promote Euro-Arab dialogue. It will support students who demonstrate exceptional academic excellence and a strong motivation to promote Euro-Arab dialogue. The Fund shall provide\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.luf.nl\/en\/news\/2018\/new-joint-international-scholarship\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">one full scholarship<\/a>\u00a0annually to a Master\u2019s student from an Arab country to attend a Master\u2019s programme at Leiden University.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the scholarship is strengthened by a mentoring programme that offers the scholarship recipient guidance on a personal and professional level and also provides access to the Foundation\u2019s extensive and diverse network and platforms.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Applications for the 2022\/2023 academic year are now open.<\/em>\u00a0The application deadline is March 31, 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_230185538\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Applications to Leiden University are processed year round for the September and February intake.\u00a0Applications may take between 4-6 weeks to be processed by Leiden University. Only applicants with an official letter of acceptance from Leiden University will be considered for a scholarship by the Lutfia Rabbani Foundation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Leiden University advises that housing registration be done as early as possible. Should you decide not to attend Leiden University, your housing application can be cancelled and fully refunded if you do so before the deadline of June 1, 2022.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Eligibility<\/h3>\n<p>The scholarship is open to Arab students who have received an official letter of acceptance into a one year Master\u2019s programme at Leiden University.
