Every year University West offers a limited number of scholarships to fee-paying master\u2019s students. The scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence.<\/p>\n

The University West scholarship covers 25 percent of the tuition fee. The recipients of these scholarships will have their tuition fee waived by 25% for the whole programme length, provided that the study results during the first semester and\/ or the first year are satisfactory.<\/p>\n

Eligibility criteria<\/h3>\n

\u00a7\u00a0 Citizens of a country outside the EU\/EEA and Switzerland who pay tuition fees<\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0 Admitted to an on-campus master\u2019s programme at University West<\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0 Motivation letter submitted with programme application<\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0 The application fee and supporting documents received before the deadline<\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0 The scholarship is only available for on-campus programmes. The scholarship is not available for distance learning programmes<\/p>\n

Awarding procedure<\/h3>\n

The scholarship committee is overall responsible for the principles of the scholarships and decides every year on how to distribute the funds available, the structure of the scholarships and which students will be awarded.<\/p>\n

The departments\/faculties rank applicants based on the criteria listed below and present their choices to the scholarship committee. The committee makes the final decision.<\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0 Study result from previous education<\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0 Applicant\u2019s motivation for being part of the programme<\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0 Applicant’s priority of the programme in the national application round<\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0 Relevant projects, internships, international exposure and work experience<\/p>\n

A decision made by the scholarship committee is not open for appeal.<\/p>\n

Application procedure<\/h3>\n

Information about the procedure for the academic year 2022\/2023 will be announced shortly.<\/p>\n

Students applying for a master\u2019s programme starting autumn 2022 can apply for a University West scholarship from\u00a01 November 2021 to 1 February 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You can apply for a scholarship by filling out the online application form and uploading your CV.<\/p>\n

Scholarship applicants will be notified about the scholarship committee\u2019s decision on\u00a023<\/strong>\u00a0April 2022\u00a0<\/strong>at the latest.<\/p>\n

A decision made by the scholarship committee is not open for appeal.<\/p>\n
