We are a boutique consultancy firm with a clear purpose: to help democratic governments and international businesses navigate European and transatlantic affairs \u2013 and connect the dots for them to get their message across. As a political consultancy, we take on projects where we can make a difference, solving complex public policy challenges or making the case for a freer, more open and democratic world. We are a small but highly agile firm with offices in Copenhagen and Brussels, as well as senior staff present in key capitals including Berlin, Paris, and Washington D.C.<\/p>\n<h3>About the position<\/h3>\n<p>We are looking for an exceptional candidate to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and implement Rasmussen Global\u2019s policy and political communications campaigns for clients\/prospective clients. These include major international strategic communications campaigns with a sharp focus on delivering policy outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Act as spokesperson\/press officer to our founder Anders Fogh Rasmussen, and identify opportunities that align with his priorities of democracy promotion, transatlantic unity, and open societies<\/li>\n<li>Draft concise, sharp opinion editorials, speeches, social media content<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<p>We are looking for a candidate with a proactive mindset and a passion for international affairs. The candidate we seek will have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A background in political or policy communications\/campaigns, including demonstrable ability to use communications to shift the dial on public policy issue<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of the media landscape on both sides of the Atlantic, and a good array of contacts in media outlets in Europe and North America<\/li>\n<li>Solid judgment, with experience of advising senior politicians\/diplomats or C-Suite executives<\/li>\n<li>A strong understanding of social media, and how to build and execute a strong social media campaign<\/li>\n<li>A good understanding of geopolitics, including transatlantic relations, security policy and Indo-Pacific policy<\/li>\n<li>An affinity for our proposition, especially promoting freedom and democracy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, these would be a bonus:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Native English speaker and knowledge of other European language(s)<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working in EU policy on space, renewables or in the foreign\/security sphere<\/li>\n<li>A combination of working within both political\/government and corporate sphere<\/li>\n<li>Experience of business development\/pitching in a consultancy environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Working at Rasmussen Global<\/h3>\n<p>The position is a fulltime position ideally based in Brussels but we would consider Copenhagen or another major European city. Some job related travel should be expected.
