class=\"page-title\">Tomorrow&#8217;s Leaders Graduate Students Program<\/h1>\n<div class=\"single-content basic-content\">\n<div class=\"field field--name-body field--type-text-with-summary field--label-hidden field--item\">\n<p>Tomorrow\u2019s Leaders Graduate (TLG) students program\u00a0is a joint effort between the US\u00a0Department of State, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs (NEA\/AC), and AUC.\u00a0TLG\u00a0equips academically qualified and economically deserving students with the professional qualifications and experience needed to advance knowledge and contribute to the achievement of socially relevant outcomes through organized graduate study and research that furthers the professionalization of emerging leaders and proposes local solutions to shared problems in the MENA region.<\/p>\n<p>TLG offers students from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) a unique opportunity to pursue higher education and earn a master degree at The American University in Cairo in one of the following graduate programs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Economics<\/li>\n<li>International and Comparative Education<\/li>\n<li>Migration and Refugee Studies<\/li>\n<li>Nanotechnology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nationals of the following countries only: Algeria, Iraq,\u00a0\u00a0Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, Yemen, and\u00a0Syrian citizens residing outside of Syria<\/li>\n<li>Meet\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aucegypt.edu\/admissions\/graduate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AUC graduate admission requirements<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Strong academic potential with a bachelor degree of a minimum overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in written and spoken English<\/li>\n<li>Possess maturity, flexibility, and leadership potential demonstrated in a combination of extracurricular activities, recommendations, and interviews.<\/li>\n<li>Financial need<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Research Requirement(s):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants to the TLG students program\u00a0<strong>must<\/strong>\u00a0commit to pursuing Full tuition fees for the fall and spring semesters<br \/>\n2. Medical insurance<br \/>\n3. A monthly stipend<br \/>\n4. Student housing<br \/>\n5. Laptop<br \/>\n6. Internship\/practicum opportunity including local transportation costs if needed<br \/>\n7. Opportunity to attend one conference to present research findings, applied to and awarded competitively, as per the guidelines for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aucegypt.edu\/academics\/graduate-studies\/support-grants\">Graduate Student Support Grants<\/a><br \/>\n8.
