The dynamic landscape of rapid technological change in Africa is a key priority for the program.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Fellow or Senior Fellow\u00a0will anchor Carnegie Africa&#8217;s work on technology by\u00a0tracking major trends in digital innovation and regulation in Africa; helping define the research agenda on technology for the Africa Program; producing high-quality analysis that yields\u00a0policy insights on digital innovation and regulation;\u00a0and\u00a0coordinating\u00a0the program&#8217;s public and private dialogue on technology in Africa, including in-country consultations\u00a0and making selective media appearances.<\/p>\n<p>The chosen candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience\u00a0with private sector experience preferred; a graduate degree is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the tech policy and regulatory landscape in Africa, excellent analytical skills including the ability to work with datasets, excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Working knowledge of French is preferred.<\/p>\n<p>Located in Washington, DC.
