NCTU International Scholarship
\nGeneral Information
\nNCTU International Scholarships are available to outstanding degree-seeking international students
\nwith excellent academic and research records. Selected students may be awarded monthly stipend
\nand\/or exemption from tuition fees.
\nA. Amount:
\n(1) Undergraduate students: up to NT$21,000 (US$700) per month and\/or tuition waiver.
\n(2) Master\u2019s students: up to NT$22,000 (US$733) per month and\/or tuition waiver.
\n(3) Doctoral students: up to NT$29,000 (US$966) per month and\/or tuition waiver.
\nB. Duration: Up to 1 year
\nC. Renewal: At the end of the first award year, students may apply for NCTU International Scholarships
\nfor outstanding current students. Award includes monthly stipends (up to NT$21,000 (US$700)\/22,000(US$733)\/29,000(US$966) for undergraduate\/master\u2019s\/doctoral students) and\/or
\ntuition waiver. The scholarships for current students are awarded for a 1 academic year period in
\nprinciple and may be reapplied and reviewed regularly based on applicants\u2019 academic performance and
\nresearch records and subject to a maximum number of years.

\nFor new students, apply along with the degree programs through our online application system.
\nWhen filling out the admission application form, mark under the \u201cNCTU Scholarship\u201d item on the form
\nto be considered. If you are already enrolled at NCTU, please check OIA announcement every
\nDecember\/June for important message on scholarship renewal.
\nApplication Period
\nFor new students, the application is open during the following intake (admission application period):
\nFall Intake: December 20 \u2013 March 5
\nSpring Intake: August 10 \u2013 September 30
