Tomason \u015fi Kilmenn indic\u0103 5 stiluri de comportament \u00een  conflict: compromis, cooperare, ignoran\u0163\u0103, concuren\u0163\u0103 \u015fi adaptare. \u00cen  dependen\u0163\u0103 de stil urmeaz\u0103 s\u0103 se rezolve \u015fi diferendul existent.  Kornelius \u015fi Feir au creat o Carta a conflictelor pentru rezolvarea mai  u\u015foar\u0103 a conflictelor. Aceast\u0103 Carta con\u0163ine 3 puncte: studierea  problemei, eviden\u0163ierea p\u0103r\u0163ilor aflate \u00een conflict \u015fi eviden\u0163ierea  necesit\u0103\u0163ilor false \u015fi problemele celor implica\u0163i direct \u00een conflict. ONU a urmat cursul  politicii de rezolvarea conflictelor pe cale pa\u015fnic\u0103 astfel punctul 1  din articolul 33 cap VI men\u0163ioneaz\u0103 c\u0103 : <span style=\"color: black;\">P\u0103r\u0163ile  la orice diferend a c\u0103rui prelungire ar putea pune in primejdie  men\u0163inerea p\u0103cii si securit\u0103\u0163ii interna\u0163ionale trebuie sa caute sa-l  rezolve, \u00eenainte de toate, prin <strong><em>tratative,  ancheta, media\u0163ie, conciliere, arbitraj, pe care judiciara, recurgere  la organiza\u0163ii sau acorduri regionale sau prin alte mijloace pa\u015fnice, la  alegerea lor. <\/em><\/strong>Dup\u0103 cel de-al II-lea r\u0103zboi mondial  au existat peste 450 de diferende \u015fi prin c\u0103ile stipulate de ONU s-au  \u00eencercat rezolvarea lor.
