Cel mai de seam\u0103 filosof, c\u0103rturar \u015fi om de \u015ftiin\u0163\u0103 din toate timpurile, Dimitrie Cantemir(1673-1723), a fost remarcabil prin expunerea absolut clar\u0103 a unor idei \u015fi concep\u0163ii absolut confuze \u00een acea perioad\u0103 \u00een Europa. Cantemir admite actul crea\u0163iei divine, \u00eens\u0103 \u00een compara\u0163ie cu contemporanii s\u0103i, care considerau c\u0103 Dumnezeu intervine \u00een continuare \u00een tot ce se \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103 \u00een lume, filosoful rom\u00e2n afirm\u0103 c\u0103 dup\u0103 crea\u0163ie Dumnezeu \u201ede lucru se odihne\u015fte\u201d. \u015ei aceasta are loc fiindc\u0103 \u00een univers domin\u0103 ni\u015fte legi, care determin\u0103 toate procesele naturale. Prin aceast\u0103 nou\u0103 concep\u0163ie \u00een filosofia rom\u00e2neasc\u0103 s-a determinat o privire diferit\u0103 fa\u0163\u0103 de religie \u015fi \u015ftiin\u0163\u0103. \u00censu\u015fi Cantemir spune: \u201dDespre unu \u015fi acela\u015fi adev\u0103r, care e simplu, teologii&#8230; vorbesc teologice\u015fte, iar de alt\u0103 parte fizicii(naturali\u015ftii) vorbesc fizice\u015fte.\u201d <\/span>  <\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify; text-indent: 27pt;\"><span lang=\"RO\">Un alt merit al filosofului moldovean este c\u0103 el interpreteaz\u0103 pu\u0163in diferit cele patru feluri de cauze ce influen\u0163eaz\u0103 universul (materia, forma, eficien\u0163a \u015fi finalul). Astfel, Cantemir sus\u0163ine c\u0103 primele trei ac\u0163ioneaz\u0103 asupra \u00eentregului univers, pe c\u00e2nd cea de-a patra este doar parte component\u0103 a existen\u0163ei umane. Prin aceast\u0103 concep\u0163ie, Cantemir distinge clar specificul tuturor procese naturale \u015fi specificul existen\u0163ei umane.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify; text-indent: 27pt;\"><span lang=\"RO\">Pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 faptul c\u0103 Cantemir e un umanist, el e \u015fi un iluminist de talie. El consider\u0103 c\u0103 omul e o fiin\u0163\u0103 deosebit\u0103, \u201ecea mai de-a firea \u015fi mai evghenichi(aleas\u0103). Constr\u00e2ngerea fizic\u0103 poate fi de diferit fel, \u00eens\u0103 sufletul va rezista tuturor presiunilor. \u015ei \u00eenc\u0103 o idee iluminist\u0103 progresist\u0103, \u015fi anume c\u0103 omul din n\u0103scare e bun, \u015fi orice om poate deveni bun numai dorind aceasta. <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify; text-indent: 27pt;\"><span lang=\"RO\">O importan\u0163\u0103 considerabil\u0103 au avut-o \u00een filosofia rom\u00e2neasc\u0103 reprezentan\u0163ii \u015ecolii Ardelene (I.H.R\u0103dulescu, Simion B\u0103rnu\u0163iu). I.H.R\u0103dulescu sus\u0163inea ideea dualit\u0103\u0163ii de principii contrare. Astfel, sunt dualit\u0103\u0163i <i>monstruoase<\/i>(bine-r\u0103u, Dumnezeu-Satana, lumin\u0103-\u00eentuneric), care nu pot produce sinteze din cauza confrunt\u0103rilor permanente, \u015fi, dualit\u0103\u0163ile <i>naturale<\/i> sau <i>simpatice<\/i> care au forma de <i>tez\u0103-antitez\u0103-rezultat<\/i>(timp-loc-eternitate, suflet-corp-om, guvern-popor-societate, progres-conversa\u0163ie-perfectibilitate). Aceast\u0103 concep\u0163ie vine \u015fi de la dorin\u0163a reprezentan\u0163ilor \u015ecolii Ardelene s\u0103 dob\u00e2ndeasc\u0103 drepturi egale cu celelalte na\u0163iuni din Imperiul Austro-Ungar. <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify; text-indent: 27pt;\"><span lang=\"RO\">Filosofia sec. al XIX-lea (Nicolae B\u0103lcescu, Titu Maiorescu, Vasile Conta) se caracterizeaz\u0103 prin r\u0103sp\u00e2ndirea \u015fi dezvoltarea \u015ftiin\u0163elor. Are loc o schimbare a primatului artei cu cel al \u015ftiin\u0163ei. O asemenea modificare a punctului de vedere a dus la ceea c\u0103 mai t\u00e2rziu au fost ignorate complectamente poezia \u015fi artele. V. Conta se impune ca cel mai original filosof \u015fi un adev\u0103rat materialist. El consider\u0103 c\u0103 sufletul e o \u201efunc\u0163ie\u201d a creierului. De asemenea el consider\u0103, \u00een opozi\u0163ie cu Kant, c\u0103 timpul \u015fi spa\u0163iu exist\u0103 obiectiv \u015fi c\u0103 exist\u0103 corela\u0163ie \u00eentre timp, spa\u0163iu, timp \u015fi mi\u015fcare. Studiind formele de existen\u0163\u0103 a corpurilor V. Conta a emis ipoteza c\u0103 atomii sunt \u201ecorpuri relativ mari\u201d ce \u00een alc\u0103tuirea lor cuprind corpuri \u201einfinit de mici\u201d. Aceast\u0103 a fost confirmat\u0103 de descoperirile ulterioare din fizic\u0103. <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify; text-indent: 27pt;\"><span lang=\"RO\">Astfel, putem conclude c\u0103 dezvoltarea filosofiei moderne rom\u00e2ne a avut loc simultan sau aproape simultan cu cea European\u0103, chiar uneori mai rapid. A\u015fa, de la spiritualismul genial a lui D. Cantemir s-a ajuns la materialismul lui V.
