McGraw, Jr. Center for Business Journalism<\/a>, an initiative of\u00a0the<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.journalism.cuny.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York<\/a>,  began offering Fellowships to accomplished journalists in the summer of  2014. Nearly three dozen veteran journalists have since been awarded  grants of up to $15,000.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">The aim of the McGraw Fellowship for\u00a0Business Journalism is  to support high-impact, ambitious coverage of critical issues related  to the global economy, finance and business. In an age when many news  organizations no longer have the resources to tackle complex,  time-consuming stories, the Fellowships enable experienced journalists  to do the deep reporting needed to produce a serious piece of  investigative or enterprise journalism.\u00a0You\u2019ll\u00a0find more information on  our current Fellows and their projects <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcgrawcenter.org\/2019-fellows\/\">here;\u00a0<\/a>our past Fellows can be found on the following pages: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcgrawcenter.org\/2018-fellows-2\/\">2018 Fellows<\/a>; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcgrawcenter.org\/2017-fellows\/\">2017 Fellows<\/a>; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcgrawcenter.org\/2016-fellows-summer\/\">2016 Fellows<\/a>; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcgrawcenter.org\/2015-fellows\/\">2015 Fellows<\/a>; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcgrawcenter.org\/mcgraw-fellows\/\">2014 Fellows<\/a>. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcgrawcenter.org\/the-harold-w-mcgraw-jr-business-journalism-fellowships\/stories\/\">Fellowship Stories<\/a> page contains links to all of the stories they have published.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">We generally accept applications twice a year. <strong>The upcoming deadline for Winter 2020 Fellowships is January 31, 2020.<\/strong> <strong>Applications for the Summer 2020 Fellowships will be due July 10, 2020<\/strong>.  However, we will consider time-sensitive projects on a case-by-case  basis outside of the deadline periods.
